About EnvirOPINION

We are very excited about this new initiative, which will help those businesses that operate within the energy and environmental services sector get their voices heard.

What is the Envirolink NorthWest online community and what’s in it for me?

Since 2000, Envirolink Northwest has been supporting business to improve their competitiveness. We do this by:

• Running workshops that help businesses network with other organisations within their markets
• Promoting technologies, products and services at exhibitions, supply chain directories and trade publications
• Provide individual technical business support
• Link buyers to suppliers

However, we can only do this by working with and talking to businesses like yours.

This is where the online community comes in. It will be a place where you can give your opinions on a wide range of topics that directly affects your business, from new legislation, government funding through to the impact of the economic downturn.

Your comments will help Envirolink NorthWest continue to work on your behalf by giving is us the information we need to influence the authorities in a way that will benefit you. The online community is very much a means of supporting the work that we currently do, and will be a place where people can visit to share their thoughts.

How will the EnvirOPINION do this?

There will be two main ways in which we will ask you for your feedback. One will be using short questionnaires that will be emailed to you and the second will be to invite you to an online forum, where you can respond to questions and comments on a particular subject.

Of course, even if you agree to join the community you are not obliged to participate on every occasion that you are invited to, but if you do then we can all begin to work together to affect change within the industry.

How will EnvirOPINION work?

All we need is some basic information about you, such as your name, job title, email address, business name and address, the sectors that you operate in. By gathering this information we can be sure to only contact you when we have something that is relevant for you.

Surveys will be sent to the email address that you register as part of the sign up process; while EnvirOPINION will be a website that you can log in to. The log in details will be provided to you as part of the registration process. However, you will only ever need to log in when there are things that will interest you. We will let you know this by emailing you. Once you have logged in you can comment on topics that have been posted, answer quick polls or a relevant survey.

Who's involved

We are using a research agency called eDigitalResearch who specialize in managing online communities. However, it will be the research team at Envirolink Northwest that will be working with you through the community to the specific aim of helping your business grow.
